B.A.L.T On A Toasted Calabrese Bun
- 6 Slices, Black Forest Bacon, 1/8" thickness
- 1, Small Avocado, mashed into thick paste
- 2 Leaves, Red Leaf Lettuce
- 1, Large Ripe Red Tomato, sliced
- 2 Tbls, Mayonnaise
- 2, Calabrese Buns
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Heat Large Fry Pan on high/medium heat. Place in Bacon and cook until brown on both sides. It should be slightly crispy but still a little chewy. Once finished place on plate with paper towel and pat dry.
- While Bacon is cooking preheat Oven or Conventional Oven to 350 degrees. Slice Buns in half and place in Oven open faced.
- Once buns are toasted spread Mayonnaise on one side of bun and mashed Avocado on the other. Break Bacon slices in half and put 6 pieces on each bun. Add Sliced Tomatoes and Lettuce. Season with Salt & Pepper to taste.
