Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In small mixing bowl combine breadcrumbs and milk.
  3. In large mixing bowl, combine meat, onion, garlic, egg, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add bread-milk mixture to large bowl and mix gently with fork or hands.
  5. Place mixture into buttered loaf pan.
  6. Brush ketchup over top of meatloaf, or wait to brush it on during baking.
  7. Bake 45-55 minutes.
  8. When done the meatloaf will start to pull slightly from pan, or use meat thermometer to measure temperature. It is done when a temperature of 160 degrees is reached.
  9. Let sit for 5 minutes.
