Sauerbraten With Cabbage & Noodles

  1. -Use CheeseCloth to make packet with pickling spice and garlic
  2. -In bowl combine snaps and vinegar until dissolved.
  3. -Put in pot add everything but meat.
  4. -Stir and taste.
  5. -You may have to add more snaps if it is too loose, water if too thinck or more sugar if too sour.
  6. -Add meat, coat with gravy.
  7. -Put bay leaves on top and cook a couple of hours.
  8. -Slice and let meat marinade for a day or so
  9. *********
  10. - Cook noodles according to directions on package
  11. -Fry Cabbage and Onion until slightly brown
  12. -Add salt and pepper
  13. -Toss over cooked noodles
