Nutrisystem Crusted Pesto Broccoli

  1. 1. Cut broccoli florets and stems into pieces about the size of a ping-pong ball. Place in microwave safe bowl, add 1 tbsp. water, cover with plastic wrap and steam for 1 to 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
  2. 2. Remove broccoli from microwave and drain well. Blot dry with paper towel. Cool slightly.
  3. 3. Drizzle olive oil over broccoli, tossing to coat. Blend basil, garlic, Parmesan and spices together. Sprinkle over the broccoli and toss to coat each broccoli piece with this crusting.
  4. 4. Heat large skillet over high heat. Add crusted broccoli and all spices left in the bowl to skillet and stir-fry, browning edges of the florets and stems.
  5. 5. Serve hot on large platter.
