Company Chicken Divan
- 8 skinned and boned chicken breasts
- 2 pkg. frozen broccoli florets
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. white wine
- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. shredded sharp cheese
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- Boil chicken until cooked.
- Reserve one cup of broth.
- Cool and cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
- Cook broccoli according to package directions.
- Mix together soup, sour cream, broth and wine to make a sauce.
- Add chicken, broccoli and mushrooms.
- Place in shallow baking dish and top with cheese first and then with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375u0b0 for 35 minutes or until bread crumbs are brown.
- Serve with rice or pasta.
- Serves 6 to 8 people.
