Tourtiere(Meat Pie)

  1. Pour oil into very large pot over low heat.
  2. Add all ingredients remaining, except pastry; mix well.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes, or until most liquid is absorbed but mixture is still very moist.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Line pie plates with pastry.
  6. Add filling; cover with top crust.
  7. Seal and cut slits in top.
  8. Bake at 375u0b0 for 35 minutes.
  9. Bon appetit!!!
