Easy Skillet Beef Stew And Noodles

  1. Prepare noodles as label directs, using 1 teaspoon salt in water.
  2. Trim any fat from flank steak.
  3. Cut into 1 1/2-inch chunks.
  4. Thinly slice carrots and onions.
  5. Cut mushrooms in half. Combine soy sauce, catsup, cornstarch and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  6. Add flank steak pieces and stir mixture gently until meat is well coated.
  7. Add 4 teaspoons of oil to skillet and cook carrots and onions until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
  8. Add 2 more teaspoons of oil and cook mushrooms until tender.
  9. Add steak mixture and cook about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
