Hot Rod Dog

  1. Heat hot dog as directed on package or grill until thoroughly heated.
  2. Place hot dog in bun to form "body".
  3. Place little wiener upright at one end of hot dog to form "driver", using Cheez Whiz to secure pieces.
  4. Attach cherry tomato to top of little wiener with pretzel stick to form "driver's head".
  5. Place tomato slice, cut in half, upright in hot dog, attaching with a dab of Cheez Whiz in front of driver to form "windshield".
  6. Place singles over hot dog in front of windshield, to form "hood".
  7. Decorate with a squiggle of ketchup.
  8. Attach whole pimento stuffed olives in front of hood to form "headlights".
  9. Attach pickle slices with pretzel sticks; insert both sides of hot dog bun, front and back, to form "wheels". Use cracker to form "steering wheel".
  10. Attach green onion slices (white part) to driver's head using dab of Cheez Whiz, to form "goggles".
  11. Attach ripe olive slice, cut in half, to driver's head, using dab of Cheez Whiz, to form "smile".
  12. Cut olive slice in quarters to form "eyebrows".
  13. Attach pretzel stick to each side of little wiener to form "arms".
