Ruby'S Favorite Pound Cake

  1. Bring eggs, Crisco, margarine and milk to room temperature. Cream
  2. together sugar, Crisco and margarine until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Sift
  5. flour
  6. and baking powder together.
  7. Add flour alternately
  8. with milk and beat well after each addition.
  9. (Do not omit beating together after each addition; this makes the cake fluffy).
  10. Add flavorings.
  11. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  12. Put
  13. in
  14. cold oven (do not preheat).take at 350u0b0 for
  15. 1 hour
  16. or
  17. until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before removing from pan.
