Rosemary Bread
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. crushed rosemary
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 7 c. bread flour (may be less or more)
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, soda, oil, salt, rosemary and hot water.
- Add yeast mixture.
- Add in flour.
- Dough should not be too dry or too sticky.
- Place in well-greased bowl and place in warm, draft-free place.
- Let rise 40 minutes.
- Punch down dough and let rest 15 minutes.
- On floured surface, shape into several long loaves or braids or dinner rolls.
- Let rise again in warm place for 1 hour.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes until golden.
