Dinner Rolls

  1. In large bowl combine 1 1/3 cups flour and yeast.
  2. Heat milk, sugar,
  3. Crisco
  4. and
  5. salt,
  6. just
  7. untiltarm;
  8. stir occasionally to melt Crisco.
  9. Add
  10. to dry ingredients in bowl; add egg.
  11. Beat with
  12. electric
  13. mixer
  14. for
  15. 1/2 minute;tcrape sides of bowl constantly.
  16. Beat
  17. 3
  18. minutes
  19. at high speed. By hand stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
  20. Place in greased bowl;
  21. turn once to grease surface. Cover; let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours,
  22. until
  23. double.
  24. Punch
  25. down;
  26. turntut
  27. on lightly floured surface.
  28. Cover; let rest 10 minutes. Shape as desired. Cover;
  29. let rolls rise 30 to 45 minutes until double on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
