Macaroni With Kabanos Sausage And Tomato

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and blend in milk until smooth. Return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens. Simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in cheese and season to taste.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain well and return to pan. Stir in cheese sauce.
  3. In a frying pan, heat oil on high. Saute cabanossi for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Toss with macaroni, top with chives and serve with crusty bread.
