Layered Salmon And Avocado Dip
- 1/4 lb cream cheese, at room temperature
- 3.5 oz canned salmon, drained, flaked
- 1/2 None lemon, zested and juiced
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tsp fresh chives, finely snipped
- 2-3 drops hot pepper sauce
- None None Avocado Cream
- 1 None avocado, pitted, peeled, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup watercress, coarsely chopped
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp char-grilled red pepper, drained, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, coarsely chopped
- 1 sprig watercress, to garnish
- None None crackers and crudites, to serve
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add salmon, lemon zest, lemon juice, tomato sauce, chives and hot pepper sauce. Transfer to a 4 inch cake ring and smooth top.
- To make the avocado cream, combine avocado, sour cream, char-grilled pepper and fresh dill. Season then transfer to cake ring. Chill for 30 mins.
- To serve, carefully remove ring. Garnish with a sprig of watercress. Serve with crackers and crudites.
