Oven Barbecued Chicken

  1. In skillet, brown slowly

  3. salad oil, one fryer, cut up. Place in 12 x 8

  5. 2-inch
  6. baking dish.
  7. To skillet, add onion and celery; cook until tender.
  8. Add catsup, water, lemon juice, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and prepared mustard. Simmer 15 minutes
  9. and
  10. skim
  11. off
  12. excess fat.
  13. Pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at

  15. for
  16. 1
  17. 1/4 hours or until done, basting 3 or 4 times.
  18. Serves 4.
