Caramelized Pork Skewers With Asian Herb Salad

  1. Combine garlic, ginger, kecap manis and lime juice. Add pork and onions and toss to coat. Cover and chill for 30 mins to marinate.
  2. Thread pork and onions onto skewers. Lightly coat a grill or grill pan with oil. Cook skewers over high heat, turning, for 5-6 mins, until browned and cooked to your liking.
  3. Meanwhile, to make the Asian herb salad, combine salad greens, herbs and chili in a bowl. Whisk together lime juice and sesame oil and season to taste. Drizzle over salad and toss to combine.
  4. Distribute pork and salad between serving plates. Serve with extra kecap manis and rice.
