Apple Pie With Pecans

  1. Combine the flour, butter, sugar, salt and 4-6 tbsp of cold water. Knead it into a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 mins.
  2. Melt 3 1/2 tbsp of butter in a pan and stir in the maple syrup. Set aside to cool.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Roll out the pastry dough on a floured work surface and place it in a greased pie dish. Prick it several times with a fork and spread the apple slices out onto the pastry. Mix the cream into the syrup then add the eggs, nuts and Southern Comfort. Stir well and pour the mixture over the apples. Bake for about 45 mins.
