Turmeric Chicken

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Saute onions and garlic for 2-3 mins, until tender. Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Combine turmeric and flour. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour then saute for 4-5 mins, until all sides are golden.
  3. Return onion mixture to pan. Add stock and lemon juice. Stir in ginger, chilies and brown sugar. Season to taste. Simmer, covered, for 25-30 mins, until chicken is tender. Serve with steamed beans and naan bread.
