Chicken And Veggie Turnovers
- 2 tsp vegetable or olive oil
- 3/4 lb ground chicken
- 2 None green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 1/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 None egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- None None Sweet chili sauce, to serve
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet on high heat. Add ground chicken; cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, 5 mins or until browned. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, 1 min. Add vegetables; cook, stirring 5 mins. Cool.
- Cut each pastry sheet into 4 squares. Spoon 2 tbsp filling onto 1 side of each pastry square. Brush edge with egg; fold pastry over to enclose filling. Press edges with a fork to seal. Repeat with remaining filling and pastry. Brush pastry tops with egg; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake 18-20 mins or until puffed and golden. Serve with sweet chili sauce.
