Seafood Newburg

  1. Cut fish into bite size pieces.
  2. Shell and devein shrimp, if using fresh.
  3. In margarine, cook the mushrooms until tender; remove to bowl.
  4. Melt 4 tablespoons margarine.
  5. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  6. Blend and cook 1 minute.
  7. Stir in half and half and milk. Stir until smooth.
  8. Add fish, shrimp, peas, crab, sherry and mushrooms.
  9. Cook until fish flakes easily.
  10. Add cheese and pimentos.
  11. Simmer gently 5 minutes.
  12. Serve over biscuits.
  13. Sprinkle with paprika.
  14. Serves 8.
