Beef Steak And Tortilla Bake

  1. Brown round steak in oil in skillet; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
  3. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1 1/4 cups.
  4. Add to steak.
  5. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
  6. Add tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, mushrooms, 1/2 cup onion and garlic; mix well.
  7. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
  8. Dip tortillas, one at a time in sauce; place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  9. Spoon 2 teaspoons onion along one side of tortilla; roll up to enclose onion.
  10. Arrange in baking dish. Stir 3/4 cup cheese into sauce; spoon sauce over tortillas.
  11. Top with remaining cheese.
  12. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
