Sausage Rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 425u0b0F. Lightly oil 2 baking trays.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a small frying pan over medium heat. Sweat onion until softened. Transfer to a large bowl. Dip bread in a small bowl of cold water then remove immediately. Transfer to bowl with onions. Add remaining ingredients and mix until combined. Distribute between centers of puff pastry then roll up to enclose filling. Place, seam-side down, on prepared trays. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cut each roll into 8 pieces. Bake for about 15 mins, or until golden brown.
