Five-Spice Lamb And Chili Stir-Fry With Greens
- 14 oz lamb fillet, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 small red onion, cut into thin wedges
- 6 oz broccolini, coarsely chopped
- 8 oz sugar snap peas, trimmed
- 5 oz oyster mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 2 tbsp hot chili sauce
- 2 tbsp Japanese soy sauce
- 1 None fresh long red chili pepper, thinly sliced
- Combine lamb and five-spice in medium bowl.
- Heat lightly oiled wok on high heat. Stir-fry lamb, in batches, until browned. Remove from wok.
- Add garlic and onion to wok; stir-fry about 5 mins or until onion softens. Add 1/4 cup water, broccolini, peas and mushrooms; stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
- Return lamb to wok with 2 tbsp water and sauces; stir-fry until heated through. Season to taste. Serve stir-fry sprinkled with chili pepper.
