Beef And Vegetable Stir-Fry
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 None onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup fresh or canned baby corn, halved lengthwise
- 4 oz green beans, trimmed and halved
- 1 None red pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
- 1 None zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp hot chili sauce
- None None Thinly sliced green onion, for garnish
- None None Steamed rice, to serve
- Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a wok or large skillet on high heat. Add the beef in 2 batches and stir-fry 2-3 mins or until well browned. Transfer to a plate.
- Heat the remaining 1 tbsp oil in wok. Add the onion and garlic and stir-fry 1-2 mins or until tender. Add the remaining vegetables and stir-fry 2-3 mins or until just tender.
- Return beef to wok with sauces and stir-fry 1-2 mins or until heated through. Sprinkle with green onions. Serve with steamed rice.
