Beef And Water Chesnut Dumplings

  1. Heat sesame oil in a medium frying pan. Cook beef, stirring, until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and mix in water chestnuts, soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame seeds. Let cool in pan.
  2. Place a rounded teaspoon of beef mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush edges with egg white then fold in half diagonally. Pinch edges together to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in large frying pan. Shallow-fry dumplings, in batches, until browned on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve hot with a bowl of sweet chili sauce.
