Turkey Breast With Sesame-Soy Tomato Salad
- 2 None egg whites
- 2 tbsp shredded fresh sage leaves
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup flour
- 4 None turkey breast steaks
- 1/4 cup vegetable or peanut oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp wasabi paste
- 3 None tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 None red onion, thinly sliced
- Whisk egg whites, sage and cream in a bowl. Place flour on a large, flat plate. Dip turkey into flour, then egg white mixture. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Cook turkey, in batches, for 3 mins each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board. Slice.
- For the salad, whisk sesame oil, vinegar, ginger, soy sauce and wasabi in a small bowl.
- Combine tomatoes, parsley, cilantro and onion in a medium bowl. Add sesame oil mixture; toss to combine. Spoon salad onto serving plates. Top with turkey.
