Microwave Pot Roast(Yields 6 Servings)

  1. Place roast in 3-quart casserole.
  2. In small bowl, mix tomatoes, onion, garlic powder, cayenne and pepper.
  3. Add cinnamon stick. Pour over roast.
  4. Cover.
  5. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Microwave 30 more minutes at 1/2 power.
  6. Add remaining ingredients. Re-cover.
  7. Microwave at 1/2 power for 30 to 45 minutes or until roast and vegetables are tender.
  8. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with biscuits.
