Mini Bbq Meatball Pizzas
- 14 oz ground beef
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp vegetable or rice bran oil
- 1/2 cup smoky barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 4 None english muffins, split
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- None None red pepper strips, to garnish
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place ground beef, egg, cornstarch and herbs in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using clean hands, mix until well combined. Shape into 40 small balls.
- Heat oil in a large pan over moderate heat. Cook meatballs, in batches, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add BBQ and Worcestershire sauce to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
- Place English muffins on prepared baking sheet. Top each with 5 meatballs and sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Top with pepper strips and serve hot.
