Rose Wine And Strawberry Gelatin
- 2 cups rose wine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 pkg (1/4 oz each) unflavored gelatin
- 1/3 cup sliced strawberries
- None None Fresh mint leaves
- Place four 3/4-cup molds or ramekins in the freezer to chill.
- Heat the wine in a medium saucepan. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with the gelatin; stir briskly to dissolve. Cool slightly.
- Pour a little gelatin into the base of each mold. Refrigerate for 10-15 mins. Place a strawberry slice and mint leaf on top. Add more gelatin; refrigerate until set.
- Repeat the process twice more until there are 3 layers of strawberry and mint. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
- To unmold, dip each mold into a bowl of hot water for 10 seconds; turn out carefully onto dessert plates. Serve garnished with additional mint leaves.
