Maple Roasted Pork Sausages
- 1 tsp vegetable or olive oil
- 16 None pork sausages
- 1 None red onion, cut into thick wedges
- 1 None red pepper, seeded and thickly sliced
- 2 small red-skinned apples, unpeeled, cored and quartered
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 8 stems thyme, plus additional to serve
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 8 oz green beans
- Preheat the oven to 450u0b0F. Heat oil in a flame-proof roasting pan on high heat. Add sausages; cook and turn for 2 mins or until browned. Add onion, pepper, apples, garlic and thyme; stir to combine.
- Bake for 10 mins. Drizzle with maple syrup. Bake 3 mins longer or until sausages are cooked through.
- Meanwhile, place beans in a bowl. Cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 mins or until just tender. Drain. Serve sausages with beans.
