Snowball Dessert
- 1 c. and 4 Tbsp. boiling water
- 1 pkg. sugar-free strawberry Jell-O
- 1 c. sliced strawberries, sweetened and covered (set in refrigerator 2 hours)
- 1 (12 oz.) container lite Cool Whip
- 1 angel food cake
- 3 apples, chopped
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin orange segments, drained
- 1 (11 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained (keep juice)
- 1 c. sliced seedless white grapes
- 1 c. sliced maraschino cherries, well drained (keep juice)
- 1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
- 1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
- Drain pineapple and cherries; reserve juice.
- Mix first 6 ingredients together; toss lightly, pudding mix and juice from pineapple and cherries being sure the juice is 1 cup.
- Press fruit down into pudding mixture and chill in covered tightly dish. Refrigerate a couple of hours or overnight.
