Overnight Chicken Casserole
- 1 chicken, cooked and diced (chicken parts of equal weight may be substituted)
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
- 2 c. milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1 small jar pimento
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese spread
- buttered bread crumbs (optional)
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except the bread crumbs and refrigerate overnight.
- Stir next morning and put mixture into a 9 x 13-inch casserole or baking dish of same volume.
- Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs, if desired.
- Cover casserole with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Uncover and continue to bake another 30 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 8, depending on appetites.
