Grilled Steak Sandwich
- 1 None medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 1-2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 None chili, deseeded and finely chopped
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 8 None thin-cut beef steaks
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 None whole wheat baguette, cut into four pieces, each halved horizontally
- 1/4 head lettuce, leaves torn
- 4 medium tomatoes, sliced
- Place 1/2 the onion, the garlic, chili and oil in a large, shallow dish. Add the the steaks, mix well to coat, cover and place in refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and remaining onion. Season to taste.
- Toast the cut sides of the baguette pieces on a grill. Set aside.
- Place the steaks on a grill for 3-4 mins, turning halfway through cooking.
- Top the baguettes with the lettuce, tomato, steaks and sour cream. Serve immediately.
