Layered Chocolate Butterscotch Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan. In 1 1/2-quart mixing bowl, combine vanilla wafers, melted butter and vanilla; stir to blend.
  3. Press into prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle with coconut, chocolate and butterscotch pieces.
  5. Pour condensed milk all over the top; sprinkle with peanuts.
  6. Bake near center of 350u0b0 oven for 20 to 27 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.
  7. Cut into bars.
  8. Cover; store in refrigerator. Yield:
  9. 3 dozen.
