Rich Beef And Smoked Sausage Goulash

  1. Preheat the oven to 325u0b0F. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a Dutch oven and sear beef in batches for 3-4 mins.
  2. Add the onions, mushrooms, oregano and seared meat to the pan and saute for 2-3 mins. Stir in the tomato puree and flour and saute for 1-2 mins. Gradually stir in 4 1/4 cups water. Add the tomatoes and peppers, then stir in the bouillon cube and paprika. Cover and place in the oven for 2 hours.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry sausages for 2-3 mins, stirring. Add the sausage to the soup and season to taste, adding more paprika if desired. Sprinkle the soup with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
