Tuna With Avocado And Pineapple Salsa
- 4 None tuna steaks (each about 225g)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 None (500g) pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into cubes
- 1 None red onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 None chilli pepper, halved, deseeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 None avocado, halved and cut into small cubes
- None None red or green chilli for garnish
- None None roasted lime slices for garnish
- None None coriander leaves for garnish
- Drizzle the tuna with 2 tbsp olive oil, the soy sauce and 1 tbsp lime juice and set aside to marinate briefly.
- Meanwhile, to make the salsa, mix the avocado, onion, diced chili pepper, chopped cilantro and pineapple together in a bowl.
- Season the tuna with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan and cook over high heat for 2-3 mins on each side. Serve with the salsa. Garnish with the whole chili pepper, lime slices and cilantro leaves.
