Lime Mascarpone Tart With Fresh Citrus Salad

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line tart shell with parchment paper and fill with pie weights. Blind bake for 10 mins. Remove paper and weights and bake for another 10 mins, until lightly browned.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, eggs, lime zest, lime juice and heavy cream until smooth. Transfer to tart shell and bake for 15 mins. Reduce heat to 300u0b0F. Bake for another 30-35 mins, until filling is just set.
  3. Meanwhile, for the fruit salad, heat sugar with 3 tbsp water until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon and star anise. Boil for 1 min. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Pour over sliced fruit.
  4. Dust tart with powdered sugar. Serve with fruit salad.
