Banana Split Cake
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 or more bananas, sliced lengthwise
- 13 1/2 oz. whipped cream topping (or whipped cream)
- 1 c. or more walnuts
- maraschino cherries
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and butter together and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Beat confectioners sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla on high for 20 minutes.
- Do not underbeat.
- Spread over crust.
- Add pineapple and bananas.
- Top with whipped cream, walnuts and cherries.
- Chill one hour or more.
- May be served with chocolate sauce if desired.
