Curried Beef And Chickpea Patties

  1. Mix ground beef, chickpeas, breadcrumbs, curry paste, onions and egg in a large bowl. Season with pepper. Firmly shape mixture into 8 patties, pushing chickpeas into the center of each patty.
  2. Cook rice in a saucepan of boiling water according to package directions. Drain. Cook beans in a separate saucepan of boiling water for 3 mins or until tender. Drain.
  3. Meanwhile, heat oil in a nonstick skillet on medium heat. Cook patties, in 2 batches, for 10 mins each or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Divide rice, beans, salad and patties among serving plates. Serve topped with yogurt.
