Bacon Burger With Herb Mayonnaise
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp horseradish sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 slices bacon, halved
- 4 None burger buns, halved, toasted
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 4 slices beet
- None None FOR THE HERB MAYONNAISE
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup light sour cream
- 1 None spring onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 4 burgers and chill until required.
- To make the herb mayonnaise, combine all ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste and chill until required.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook bacon for 2-3 mins, turning, until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and keep warm. Add burgers and cook for 3-4 mins per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Spread each toasted bun with herb mayonnaise. Sandwich together with lettuce, patties, beet and bacon.
