Beef And Pepper Stir-Fry

  1. Mix cornstarch, 1/4 cup water, soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  2. Heat a wok on high heat, then add 2 tbsp oil. Swirl oil to coat the wok. When the oil is really hot (hazing), add beef slices. Stir-fry for 1-2 mins, until meat has lost its pinkness and is lightly browned. Remove beef from the wok and season with salt.
  3. Reheat the wok, add 1 tbsp oil, and when oil is hot add red pepper and chili peppers. Stir-fry for 1 min. Add green onions, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Return beef to wok, adding any juices. Stir in cornstarch and soy sauce mixture. Bring to a boil; cook for 1 min. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
