Tuna With Oven-Roasted Tomatoes And Sesame Seeds
- 12 None tomatoes, skinned and halved
- 1 tsp + 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp + 4 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 150 g mayonnaise
- 150 ml soured cream
- 1 tbsp + 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 None lime, juiced
- 6 None sushi-quality tuna steaks (about 100g each), each cut into 4 slices
- 100 g rocket
- Preheat the oven to 175u0b0F. Place the tomatoes in a baking dish and season. Drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp sesame oil. Roast for 1 hour. Remove the tomatoes from the oven and wrap a slice of tuna around each tomato half. Drizzle with the lime juice, 1/2 tsp soy sauce and 1/2 tsp sesame oil. Return to the oven and cook for 3 mins.
- Meanwhile, make the mayonnaise dip. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, 1 tbsp soy sauce and the remaining sesame oil. Season.
- To serve, whisk together the reserved lime juice and 2 tbsp olive oil, season then toss with the arugula. Distribute the salad between 4 plates, arrange the tuna-wrapped tomatoes on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with the mayonnaise dip.
