Fusilli In Shiitake Cream Sauce

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and saute the mushrooms for 5 mins, turning. Season to taste and remove from the pan. Add 2 tbsp oil to the pan brown the ground beef for 3 mins, stirring. Add the onions and tomatoes and cook for 2 mins. Season to taste, add the cream and bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 mins.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to the package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water, and return to the pan. Add the cooking water, ground beef, mushrooms and basil and toss together. Heat until warmed through and serve.
