Chicken Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons margarine (reserve 1 tablespoon) until smooth.
  3. Add the next 6 ingredients.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.
  6. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle.
  7. Pull four corners of dough to top, center of chicken mixture, twist slightly and seal edges. Brush tops with reserved 1 tablespoon margarine.
  8. Dip in croutons crumbs.
  9. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Makes four sandwiches.
  11. Serve with sauce or gravy. These take a little time, but are really good.
