Sticky Caramelized Pork

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet on medium-high heat. Add palm sugar and 1 cup water; stir until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add onion, chili pepper, ginger and orange peel and boil for 2-3 mins. Add pork, kecap manis and fish sauce, stir well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 10 mins.
  3. Remove the lid and simmer for 20 mins, stirring occasionally, until the pork is tender.
  4. Sprinkle with peanuts and serve with rice and broccoli.
