Spinach Manicotti
- 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach
- 32 oz. spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu with meat)
- 16 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 pkg. manicotti shells or 24 shells
- 1 c. water
- Preheat
- oven
- to
- 350u0b0.
- Cookthe
- spinach
- following package directions.
- Draintell.
- (Take
- in hands and squeeze out excess water.) In
- a large bowl, mix together the spinach, both cheeses and
- egg.
- Stuff
- mixture into uncooked manicotti shells. Spread 1 cup spaghetti
- sauce and the water in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish
- or
- larger
- to hold all of the shells. Arrange the stuffed shells in the sauce-water, making 1 layer. Completely cover withthe remaining
- sauce.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 or 60 minutes until shells are done.
