Beef, Beer And Potato Pies

  1. Heat oil in a medium frying pan. Saute onion, carrot and garlic for 3-4 mins, until onion is tender. Set aside. Add ground beef and brown for 4-5 mins. Add gravy powder and tomato paste. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 mins. Return vegetables to pan. Add beer and stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 mins, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens. Season to taste. Let cool then add peas.
  2. Preheat oven to 400u0b0F. Lightly grease and line 6 mini loaf pans. Line pans with pie dough. Chill for 20 mins.
  3. Distribute beef mixture between prepared pans. Combine potato and butter and sprinkle over filling. Bake for 30-35 mins, until golden. Serve with tomato sauce.
