Spicy Southern Fried Chicken
- 2 lb. chicken
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. fried chicken seasoning
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- crushed hot pepper
- hot sauce to taste
- Crisco oil
- 1 jar barbeque sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1/2 stick margarine
- Clean and cut up chicken.
- Mix Bisquick, bread crumbs, chicken seasoning, salt and pepper in Ziploc bag.
- Moisten and place chicken in bag and shake.
- Heat oil and place chicken in oil.
- Fry until brown.
- Drain off grease.
- Mix together barbeque sauce, honey, melted margarine, hot sauce.
- Season to desired taste with salt, pepper and crushed peppers.
- Pour a little in a small bowl with a sealed lid, place chicken in bowl, close lid and shake. Remove and put into serving dish.
