Cajun Chicken Burgers
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 1/4 lb ground chicken, seasoned, shaped into 4 patties
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 10 oz tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 None medium red onion, peeled, finely chopped
- 4 None burger buns, toasted
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 1 None avocado, sliced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- None None sweet chili sauce, for serving
- Combine flour and Cajun seasoning. Dredge patties in seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick frying pan. Add patties and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, for the salsa, combine tomatoes and onion. Season. Set aside.
- Top bottom burger buns with lettuce, avocado and patties then with mayonnaise and salsa. Drizzle sweet chili sauce over top then sandwich with top buns.
