Spiced Plum Crumble
- 1 1/2 lbs fresh plums, quartered and stoned
- None None Topping
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup demerara sugar
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1.75 oz hazelnuts, roughly chopped and lightly toasted
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- None None Plain Greek yogurt, to serve (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Arrange the plums in a shallow baking dish.
- To make the topping, place the flour in a bowl. Rub in the butter using fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the sugar, oats, hazelnuts and pumpkin pie spice; stir well. Spoon the mixture evenly over the plums and press down gently.
- Bake for 30 mins, until the crumble topping is golden. Serve with Greek yogurt, if desired.
