Spicy Beef Turnovers

  1. Preheat the oven to 425u0b0F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Cook onion and garlic for 3 mins, stirring, until soft. Add ground beef and cook on high for 5 mins, stirring to break up any lumps, until brown. Stir in cumin, red pepper flakes, beans, peas and cilantro. Season to taste and set aside to cool.
  3. Lightly roll out pie crusts on floured surface. Cut each crust into quarters. Divide beef mixture among pieces. Moisten edges with water and fold to enclose filling. Press edges with back of a fork to seal. Place on prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 20 mins, or until golden. Serve with yogurt.
